About Us

Heart of Ellsworth is a nonprofit focused on the ongoing revitalization of Downtown Ellsworth, Maine. Formally the Downtown Ellsworth Association, transitioned to a 501c3 structure in 2016 by a group of engaged citizens. H of E currently operates by one full-time staff person, a passionate board of directors, and countless volunteers who work each day to make our City a better place.
