Sample Itinerary*

Day 1

We’ll start the day in Rockport at Maine Sports Outfitters, then head to Friendship, where we’ll load the boats in the water and start with some kayak skills instruction. We’ll have lunch in Friendship, then paddle to the lodge. Upon arrival, we’ll unload the boats and head to the lodge for orientation. The evening brings an oyster tasting and lobster bake.

Day 2

Enjoy breakfast at Gay Island Lodge, then get the boats loaded for a paddle to Port Clyde. We’ll have lunches packed to go as we head out to Port Clyde. We’ll unload back at Maine Sport in Rockport, say our good-byes, and start making plans for next year!

Down East Adventures Cancellation Policy

Payment: An initial 50% deposit is required to hold your space on the trip. Reservations cannot be made until we have received the deposit. Deposit due June 15, 2018.

Cancellations: The deposit is non-refundable. Trip insurance is suggested. Alternately, 90% of your deposit will be refunded if a replacement can be found prior to the balance due date above.
