Join Greater Portland Landmarks for a celebration of all things preservation-related at the Riverton Community Center (1600 Forest Ave) on Saturday, April 29 & Sunday, April 30 from 10:00-3:00.
Exhibitors include tradespeople focusing on all aspects of old buildings, from restoring windows to undertaking sensitive remodeling jobs in your historic home, vendors selling vintage housewares and décor, interior design experts, energy efficiency, and more! There will be low-cost antiques appraisals on site both days, along with a variety of demonstrations, workshops, and DIY instruction! Whether you own an old home, rent a space in one, or just love old things, there's plenty to appeal to you at the Old House Emporium!
Both Saturday and Sunday from 10-1, antiques appraisers will be on hand offering appraisals by donation ($5 cash, $6 credit) and the pros from the Maine Project for Fine Art Conservation will be offering free visual conservation evaluations for oil paintings on canvas all weekend at their booth, so bring your treasures!
(please bring only items you can carry and no weapons)
Fantastic food options will be provided by The Pink Waffle, Totally Awesome Vegan Food Truck, and The Greeks of Peaks, the parking is free and plentiful, and kids under 12 are free with an adult! Tickets are just $10* in advance and $12* at the door. Discounted weekend passes are available for $15 in advance and $20 at the door!
