Harvest on the Harbor celebrates Portland, Maine’s crave worthy food and drink and honors the good people who make it all possible. Each October, S&G organizes this epic five-day event that brings everyone together for unique experiences that encompass Portland’s culinary culture.

Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Toast the weekend with an event celebrating Maine's culinary history and Maine wines. Sip Maine Winery Guild wines and snack on the foods that influence Maine’s cuisine from the past to present including the cuisine of France, Italy, United Kingdom, Germany, New World, French-Canadian and Asian. The event is from 6-8:30 p.m. in the Harvest Festival Tent on the water. Parking is free, and on site.
Maine Lobster Chef of the Year | $95

A lobster lunch unlike any other! Sit back and relax by the water while dining on multiple Maine chefs' lobster creations. Vote for your favorite, helping to name the Maine Lobster Chef of the Year. Enjoy a multi-course lobster luncheon, served to you at your table. The event includes tastes of each lobster dish and beverage pairings. Help name the People's Choice Lobster Chef of the Year and observe the professionally judged and appointed Lobster Chef of the Year.

Enjoy Maine's best Happy Hour - On the Rocks. In partnership with Maine Distillers’ Guild, On the Rocks will offer attendees tastings of more than a dozen top Maine-made spirits, including gin, vodka, bourbon, rum and more, creating the ultimate boozy happy hour. Each spirit will be paired with food selected to enhance the flavor profiles found in the liquor.

Experience the flavors of the coast of Maine at this afternoon seafood event, tasting a variety of Maine oysters and gourmet mignonettes. Meet Maine’s oyster farmers, learn about the different coves and harbors and learn how to shuck an oyster like a pro while indulging in Maine’s coastal bounty and select beverages. General admission tickets include 1 dozen oysters and beverages; VIP admission includes early access plus 2 dozen oysters and beverages. Additional oysters will be available for purchase for $1 each sold in groups of 6.
